What began as a business of providing Wall St. firms with basic insights into steel-making, power generation and oil and gas businesses from the view of a trader morphed into a larger core business with more in-depth analysis and research of markets , assets, financial statements and political/regulatory implications to businesses and sectors

While most experts are an expert in one region, our expertise is truly global, since we were a global trader, turned global advisor. The strength of our knowledge of products is equally strong in, for instance: met coal, thermal coal, anthracite or charcoal. We adhere to a strict advisor-client privilege policy, in the same realm of an attorney-client privilege. We do not divulge names of clients or topics discussed with those clients, nor do we reach out to third parties without our client's knowledge. We have engaged with over 500 clients and the overwhelming majority are financial firms looking for our advice to decide whether or not to make some sort of an investment.
